| Pepperwood is a membership organization made up of owners of startup companies or businesses with average revenues of 1 million dollars or more. The membership consists of owners, presidents, and CEOs of entrepreneurial, privately owned, or public companies. Pepperwood, along with its partners and associates, has created a new and innovative system for helping small and middle market sized companies achieve solid and lasting growth. The system begins with a half-day workshop, delivered by a Professional Turnaround Practitioner, to 15-25 attendees. Through the application of well-established business techniques focused on operational optimization, conservative financial structures, and attention to strategic decision making, Pepperwood members achieve a high level of success in maintaining and growing their companies through good times and bad. The key ingredient in the Pepperwood system is assigning a board of directors of between 8–12 other business owners to assist the member in achieving his or her goals. This is what we call a “Power Board.” The difference between a Power Board and a traditional board of directors is simple. While a traditional board of directors is made up of bankers, lawyers, accountants, or even family members a Power Board is made up of other business owners or CEOs who do not have a vested interest in your company or compete with you in any way. |
What makes this powerful is that the board is made up of individuals that know how to run a business from experience, not from some book, school or certificate program. Real businessmen sharing real business experience, ideas, and networks. Phase I - Indoctrination The way most people become a member of Pepperwood is through one of its business-focused workshops. Pepperwood offers several of these in cities around the country.
Phase II - Assimilation Introduction of the “Power Board.” During this phase the new member of Pepperwood is matriculated into what we call the “Power Board.” A Power Board is made up of other Pepperwood members who are interested in working to improving their respective companies. The way in which this is accomplished is both powerful and simple. Enroll in a Turnaround Workshop to Get Started! |
