Become a Pepperwood City Chairman
While serving as the chapter’s Chief Executive Officer, the City Chairman provides appropriate leadership to accomplish the Pepperwood Power Board goals and mission at the chapter level. City Chairmen are the vital link between Pepperwood and its members. Having one hand on the pulse of Pepperwood while closely monitoring a geographically assigned group of members will be the daily challenge for each City Chairman.
FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

- Establishes and maintains management, planning and information systems to ensure that the chapter functions in an efficient, business-like manner
- Sets the agenda for and presides at all chapter functions
- Participates on the chapter’s membership committee
- Represents the chapter on the Regional Board, if requested by the Region
- Acts as the chapter’s public spokesperson
- Monitors, implements and enforces all Pepperwood policies, procedures, and chapter checklists at the chapter level
- Manages the roles and responsibilities of the chapter administrator
- Attends the City Chairs’ Workshop
- Establishes a multi-year chapter strategic plan and oversees its implementation
- Ensures the chapter operates in a sound financial position.
- Ensures chapter is fully represented at annual Global Leadership Conference
- Ensures that the incoming officers are identified by September 30th of the year prior to taking office
